Bike Tour!

It a little early for me to be waking up but it was too cold to sleep any longer. I do have to get up to look nice anyway.

I need some Advil too.

Yesterday we went on a bicycle tour of Kamisu. Kate and Mary, the ALTs that live closest to me were showing me the way to my schools and I got to meet some of the little boys from Ikisu Elementary. Mary was right though, they do look like trouble. Still, trouble is completely adorable.

I warned them that I would be really behind since I haven't been biking much but I kept up for the most part, I was just out of breath and wheezing for awhile afterward. It took from 3pm to 630pm but we rewarded ourselves with some homemade crepes on the way home.

I knew I was definitely going to feel it the next day though. Which I do. But it might get a little worse before it gets better.

I came home and practically collapsed into bed so at least I got enough sleep for my big day today.

Today Michelle, Kumi-san, and I are meeting with the Kamisu Board of Education and then visiting all nine schools we have between us. I'm really hoping we can budget our time because we are visiting Michelle's first and I don't want to be forgotten/not have time to visit all four of mine.

Ah well. What happens, happens. Plus Mary told me that the board should be aware that we have to visit all those schools and notify them of this accordingly.

My apartment tour is up on YouTube. I really hate the way my voice sounds and it showcases my klutziness but I didn't feel like redoing the whole thing. Hopefully you like it.

The girl stepped into her apartment, carefully locking and checking the door behind her before turning to go up the steep staircase, not realizing that her greatest enemy already lurked within her domain...
